Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is rumored to soon be playing when the Red Devils against Galatasaray, Thursday (20/9) early morning hrs.
According to The Sun, Rooney is likely to be on the reserve bench in the Champions League opener at Old Trafford. Earlier, the 26-year-old player has been practicing for the last five days.
In practice, Rooney wearing thigh binders in order to avoid infection. He has also seen a light practice in the field and also in the gym.
It is certainly surprising that the medical team estimates Rooney sidelined for two months. Just a month after the injury, he is back practicing.
England players were also expected to return to play when United hosted Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday (23/9) tomorrow.
Rooney suffered horrific injuries in the thigh when the clash with Fulham Hugo Rodallega on 25 August.
